Dirk is trained as a certified yoga teacher from the Sivananda Meenakshi ashram in India. Sivananda yoga is a form of Hatha yoga where the focus is on the health and well-being of the yoga practitioner. Proper exercise, breathing, relaxation, diet, positive thinking and meditation are central. The Sivananda yoga class consists of both effort and relaxation.
